PERFORMER BIO
Born in Australia, based between USA & Europe - Dani Swan has made a permanent stamp in the acting and movement world. Dani is well respected Actor, Motion Capture performer, Voice Over Actor, Dancer, Creative Director and Ambassador, represented by Bohemia management, VOX in Hollywood and Chic Talent Management, Australia. She is also a graduate of Harvard Business School Online.
Dani most recently was cast as ‘ Woman in Red ‘ alongside Keanu Reeves in ‘Matrix Resurrections’ (4) by Director Lana Wachowski for Warner Bros. She joined the cast & crew for the Premier in San Francisco, Dec 18th 2021. She also is the lead actor, motion capture, voice over and producer for ‘Cerulean’. After representing Cerulean at Comic Con San Diego and NY she was asked to be the face of the SyFy channel’s sponsored Sci Film Festival at Fox Studios.
Dani was Guest Judge and Creative director in Caribbeans Next Top Model Season 2. Tyra Banks’s award winning International Television franchise.
In Hollywood Dani has trained with such coaches as Sandy Martin, Bob Corff, and Tony Bonner. She has also worked on ABC and hosted segments on Foxtel Australia for Cirque Du Soleil.
On the dance/movement world Dani has trained with Sydney Dance, Alvin Ailey ( New York ) and the Cirque School Hollywood.
Dani, coming from many years as professional movement specialist, dancer she naturally then moved into Motion Capture work. She trained at THE ROM School Hollywood with Julene Renee ( Avatar ) and also trained in combat skills with Anthony Nanakornpanom ( Avengers, Birds of Prey ). It is this training and her support from the Motion Capture community ( formosa interative, Riot Games, Sony Gaming, Mocap Lab, Paris, Centroid ), her versatility as an actor, voice over artist and movement specialist for Gaming, Film which made her a committee member for the SAG/AFTRA Performance Motion Capture board.
Dani has created her own unique brand “Architecture in Motion” specializing in bringing beautiful shades of “dark and light” movement into contrasting environments. From captivating runways, to film and advertising for top brands, Dani has worked for over 15 years in the Entertainment, commercial (L’oreal, Wella, Ferrari, Porche and Jaguar), fashion (Fashion Week International - Aus/NY/LA/Miami) and fitness industries (Polestar Pilates International). She is also a pilates teacher designing workshops, master classes for the dancer/athlete internationally, specialising in Trapeze.
Dani is also a member of the International Dance Council (an official partner of the UNESCO, United Nations in Paris), and an Ambassador for Leukemia Foundation.
Whether its playing an Action Hero or film Noir on camera, choreographing and presenting for the fashion and fitness industries or helping support charities, Dani has managed to create a world-wide brand combining movement, acting and creative directing. She is currently dividing her time between Los Angeles, Sydney and Berlin.
